The Climate Action 100+ Net Zero Company Benchmark was first launched in March 2021 to establish a high ambition for focus companies across all sectors and regions around the world in aligning their businesses with a net zero emissions future.
The Benchmark builds on the high-level engagement goals of the members of Climate Action 100+: improving climate change governance, cutting emissions in line with the Paris Agreement, and providing enhanced climate-related disclosures and implementing transition plans to deliver on robust, Paris-aligned GHG reduction targets.
It is designed to inform investor engagement with focus companies and enable more effective measurement of corporate progress on climate action.
